Atarka PreCon Mini Upgrade by Hidewrath

Format: Commander

Commander: Atarka, World Render

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a straightforward Gruul Dragon Tribal deck helmed by Atarka, World Render. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy a critical mass of flying dragons, and then use Atarka's ability to give every attacking Dragon double strike, turning a moderate board into a one-sided lethal assault. The deck eschews infinite combos and relies on pure combat inevitability, supported by a handful of dragon-specific synergy pieces (Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Garruk's Uprising) and cost reducers (Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman). The win condition is overwhelming combat damage, with Thrakkus the Butcher and Savage Ventmaw providing explosive power turns. The deck is a classic fair midrange strategy that aims to outpace opponents with raw dragon size and tribe-wide buffs.
