Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan +1/+1 counters deck pairs Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful with Reyhan, Last of the Abzan to build a board that grows exponentially. Yoshimaru swells with every legendary permanent - and the deck runs over thirty - while Reyhan ensures counters persist through creature deaths, feeding The Ozolith, Felisa, Fang of Silverquill, and Elenda, the Dusk Rose. The primary plan is to deploy redundant counter doublers - Corpsejack Menace, Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, The Earth Crystal, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider - then win through combat with Overwhelming Stampede, Akroma's Will, or Champion of Lambholt making the board unblockable. Ghave, Guru of Spores plus Doubling Season offers an infinite Saproling combo as a backup. The deck is a midrange value engine with a dense protection suite (Heroic Intervention, Flawless Maneuver, Flare of Fortitude) that grinds inevitability through counter persistence and recursion from Volrath's Stronghold and Kethis, the Hidden Hand.
