Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter aristocrats and attrition engine helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy converts -1/-1 counter placement into substantial card advantage and steady life loss for opponents. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost dorks and rocks to deploy Auntie Ool ahead of curve. Once assembled, the deck leverages Blight costs and counter spreaders such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Carnifex Demon, and Soul Snuffers to wipe opposing creatures while drawing heavily from self-targeted counters. Opposing threats are continuously suppressed and stolen via Necroskitter and The Reaper, King No More. The deck closes games through cumulative burn and drain from Obelisk Spider, All Will Be One, and combat, or through an infinite loop with Blowfly Infestation and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. While soft to stack-based combo and exile board wipes, it possesses strong grinding power and high internal redundancy.
