Deck overview

This Jund deck is an explosive reanimation and cost-cheating engine built around Eddie Brock // Venom, Lethal Protector. The early game focuses on deploying 1-mana utility creatures, self-millers, and discard outlets to stock the graveyard and develop mana. Casting Eddie Brock on Turn 3 provides immediate board recursion, setting up a Turn 5 transformation into Venom, Lethal Protector. Venom attacks with haste, sacrificing creatures to draw massive card volume and cheat high-mana-value behemoths like Archon of Cruelty, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Impervious Greatwurm directly onto the battlefield. Even when the commander is disrupted, the deck operates smoothly using standalone reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Sneak Attack to field overwhelming threats.
