Deck overview

This deck is a four-color non-green Midrange Polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan utilizes cheap noncreature token generators—such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, Lingering Souls, and Staff of the Storyteller—to create disposable bodies without running low-cost creature cards in the 99. Once a token is on the battlefield, casting Jace on turn 4 allows an immediate −3 loyalty activation to polymorph the token into a colossal game-ending creature from a curated pool of 19 high-impact threats. Payoffs include Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, Serra's Emissary, and The Ur-Sphinx. The deck protects its engine using efficient spot removal and sweepers that leave tokens behind, eventually overwhelming the table through evasive combat damage and life-loss multipliers.
