Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck commands Sauron, the Dark Lord to build a dominating board presence through amass triggers and Ring temptation wheel effects. The primary game plan deploys Sauron early, generating a massive Orc Army passively as opponents cast spells. When that Army deals combat damage, the Ring tempts you to repeatedly wheel your hand for fresh resources, digging into explosive haymakers. The deck converts this advantage into victory through overwhelming combat with evasion from The Black Gate or Demonic Ruckus, massive spell-driven boards via Saruman, the White Hand and Lord of the Nazgul, or an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Cavern-Hoard Dragon.
