AEGAR by Egatli00

Format: Commander

Commander: Aegar, the Freezing Flame

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aegar, the Freezing Flame commands an Izzet Giant tribal deck focused on board control through excess noncombat damage. The primary game plan uses high-damage burn spells, board wipes, and Giant triggers to eliminate opposing creatures, triggering Aegar to draw massive amounts of cards. After gaining substantial card advantage and establishing mana reducers, the deck transitions into the late game by deploying massive Giants like Sunrise Sovereign and Borderland Behemoth for lethal combat damage, or closing games explosively using Toralf, God of Fury combined with damage-amplifying board clears like Blasphemous Act and Chandra's Ignition.
