Deck overview

Nephilim Epochal commands a specialized four-color spellslinger and radiance combo deck. The primary strategy utilizes the commander's enter-the-battlefield ability to tutor Ink-Treader Nephilim directly into hand on Turn 4. Once Ink-Treader resolves on Turn 5, single-target instant and sorcery spells are copied for every creature on the battlefield. This turns humble one-mana cantrips like Slip Through Space and Nighthaze into massive card-drawing engines that draw 6 to 10 cards per cast. Payoffs such as Witherbloom Apprentice and Storm-Kiln Artist trigger Magecraft on every generated copy, producing overwhelming mana and draining opponents out of the game in rapid succession. Protection spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping and Gaea's Gift can also be radiated to grant the entire board hexproof and indestructible.
