Deck overview

This Grixis Superfriends deck harnesses Nicol Bolas in all his incarnations to grind opponents out of the game through asymmetric attrition, proactive stax, and swift planeswalker ultimates. Piloted by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, the deck establishes early control using efficient mana rocks and potent hate pieces like Ashiok, Dream Render and Narset, Parter of Veils to choke opposing tutors and card advantage. Defensive barriers such as Crawlspace, Silent Arbiter, and token generators safeguard a dense suite of 18 planeswalkers. Once established, proliferation engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, and Ichormoon Gauntlet rapidly accelerate loyalty counters, while Deepglow Skate propels Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God directly into game-ending ultimates. Backed by free countermagic and sweeping board wipes, the deck denies opposing development, strips hands to zero, and steadily closes the game through unyielding planeswalker superiority.
