Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis kindred aggro strategy centered on Loki, the Deceiver. The game plan establishes low-cost Villain creatures during the early turns before casting Loki on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Loki attacks to create attacking token copies of high-value Villains, drawing cards when those Villains connect with opponents. On Turn 6, the deck converts this board presence into lethal combat pressure using anthem effects like Shared Animosity and The Squadron Sinister, or token preservation via The Master, Multiplied. While the deck generates steady card flow through combat triggers and connive mechanics, it lacks countermagic and protective equipment, leaving its battlefield exposed to sweepers and instant-speed removal. It compensates with high creature density, flexible spot removal, and strong standalone threats that can close out the game even if the commander is removed.
