Deck overview

This deck is a Boros burn and board control deck built around Rem Karolus, Stalwart Slayer. The primary game plan turns symmetrical red damage spells into asymmetric one-sided wipes. Rem Karolus prevents spell damage dealt to you and your other permanents while increasing spell damage dealt to opponents and their creatures by 1. The deck controls the battlefield by repeatedly wiping opposing creatures with cheap sweepers like Anger of the Gods and Flamebreak. To close the game, it deploys damage amplifiers and reflectors such as Repercussion, Toralf, God of Fury, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight alongside devastating spells like Blasphemous Act or Earthquake. This combination deals massive bursts of lethal damage to all opponents at once. While the deck boasts high creature suppression and strong instant protection via Sunforger, it relies heavily on natural draws due to limited card advantage engines.
