Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos Vampire tribal strategy led by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary game plan revolves around dealing early chip damage to opponents to generate Blood tokens, casting Strefan on Turn 4, and attacking on Turn 5 to cheat massive Vampire threats onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Heavy hitters like Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Crossway Troublemakers, and Patron of the Vein quickly overwhelm the table with evasive combat damage and life-drain effects. In addition to broad tribal beatdown, the deck contains an infinite life-drain win condition using Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, which can be found via black tutors. The deck features solid reanimation backup and potent nonbasic land disruption with Blood Moon, though it remains vulnerable to targeted removal and lacks stack interaction.
