Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Villain tribal midrange strategy led by Thanos, the Mad Titan and strictly constrained by the companion requirement of Obosh, the Preypiercer, which mandates that all nonland cards possess odd mana values. The deck leverages this restriction into an asymmetric advantage: because every nonland permanent card in the deck has an odd mana value, activating Thanos's Power-up ability to choose even destroys all opposing even-mana-value creatures and tokens while leaving your entire board untouched. The deck curves out with low-cost Villain enablers that filter cards and distribute +1/+1 counters through the connive mechanic, such as Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord and Prowler, Clawed Thief. Once the board is established, Thanos wipes opposing defenses, and damage doublers like Obosh and Absorbing Man and Titania quickly turn wide Villain boards into lethal combat swings to eliminate the table.
