Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters combo-midrange build led by Yuna, Grand Summoner. Yuna acts as both ramp and a counter engine, generating extra +1/+1 counters on creature deployment and re-distributing counters when modified permanents die. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combo between Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. By tapping Yuna, Ballista enters with two free counters for zero mana, allowing Heliod to grant it lifelink for an immediate lethal ping loop on Turn 4. If the combo is unavailable, the deck pivots into an oppressive midrange beatdown plan utilizing Damning Verdict as a one-sided board wipe alongside evasion granters like Abzan Falconer and Duskshell Crawler, or an alternate win via Simic Ascendancy. Robust interaction, efficient counterspells, and phase-out protection from Ripples of Potential ensure resilience against opposing disruption.
