Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal deck helmed by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary game plan revolves around dealing early incremental damage to opponents to generate Blood tokens on end steps, then using Strefan's combat trigger to cheat massive, game-warping Vampires directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. High-cost threats like Olivia's Attendants, Necropolis Regent, and Crossway Troublemakers quickly overwhelm opposing life totals while generating card advantage and aristocrat drain triggers. The deck also includes compact two-card infinite drain combos such as Exquisite Blood combined with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, providing an instant win condition if drawn. While the deck boasts immense board presence and efficient creature removal, it is vulnerable to well-timed spot removal on Strefan before combat and lacks stack-based countermagic.
