Thorin, King of Durin's Folk (Boros Dwarf Typal) BUILDING (duplicated from moxcitrine) by gfparadiso

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dwarf tribal deck with a heavy Equipment subtheme, helmed by Dain of the Ancient Halls. The commander's haste and attack trigger - dealing damage equal to the number of Dwarves you control to each opponent - make him a scalable, multi-opponent finisher that can swing the turn he lands. The deck's engine is a dense web of legendary Dwarves, token generators (An Unexpected Party, Reckless Crew, Fili the Pathfinder, Mondrak, Glory Dominus), and a 12+ piece Equipment suite with free-equip enablers (Bruenor Battlehammer, Kili the Resourceful, Hammer of Nazahn). Primary wins are the commander's attack trigger amplified by Bifur, Melodic Rider and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, backed by combat beats from equipped Dwarves, Warleader's Call ETB burn, and Balin, Loremaster's discard-draw burn. Magda, Brazen Outlaw provides both treasure ramp and repeatable artifact tutoring.
