Food and Fellowship (Precon) by lustful_dream

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan Food and lifegain deck uses Sam, Loyal Attendant to make a Food each combat and discount Food activations, while Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit draws cards after you gain 3 life and attack with the Ring. You create Foods with Sam, Gilded Goose, Farmer Cotton, and Butterbur, gain life, and trigger payoffs like Dawn of Hope, The Gaffer, and Essence Warden. You go wide with Halflings, Soldiers, and Birds from Merry, Rosie Cotton, and Gwaihir, then pump with Pippin, Motivated Pony, or Assemble the Entmoot. Sanguine Bond and Mirkwood Bats act as hidden commanders, turning lifegain and token creation into direct drain.
