Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, turning every 1-damage source into a 3-damage blast. The primary plan is to deploy cheap pinger creatures (Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, etc.) and mass-1-damage spells (End the Festivities, Blazing Volley), then let Ghyrson triple the output. A secondary, faster win condition is the Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity/Ophidian Eye infinite-damage/draw loop. Grapeshot with a high storm count serves as an alternative finisher. The deck runs a low curve (2.34 average MV), a solid interaction suite, and enough card selection to find its key pieces, though it lacks true tutors. It aims to control the board with small pings while accumulating value, then close out with a combo or a storm turn.
