Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Boros go-wide strategy centered on auto-equipping artifacts, utilizing the Living Weapon, For Mirrodin!, and Job Select mechanics. By casting Equipment that enter the battlefield attached to creature tokens, the deck sidesteps the traditional mana friction of equip costs while simultaneously swarming the board with modified attackers. This token density dramatically accelerates the commander, Nahiri, Forged in Fury, through her Affinity for Equipment, routinely enabling a turn 4 cast for as little as two or three mana. Once assembled, Nahiri converts every equipped attack into impulse card advantage, casting newly revealed Equipment for free to snowball physical board presence. Win conditions stem from compounding combat damage using scaling power amplifiers like Nettlecyst, Kemba's Banner, and Reyav, Master Smith. While soft to mass exile and artifact wipes, the deck maintains high redundancy and recovers quickly using artifact recursion and secondary draw engines.
