Auntie Ool Control FINAL by OnLyOu

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund "-1/-1 counter" engine deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, who doubles as a repeatable card-draw engine: every time a counter lands on a creature, she either draws you a card (if the creature is yours) or drains the opposing controller. The deck's real plan is to layer counter-producing permanents-Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Blowfly Infestation-until the triggers collapse into an infinite loop, then convert the resulting death triggers into a win with Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. Combat is the backup channel: wither creatures, Kulrath Knight locks, and Maha, Its Feathers Night reducing opposing toughness to 1 make even small snakes deadly. The commander's Ward-Blight tax also discourages removal and feeds the deck's own counter synergies.
