Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari commands a Gruul artifact-stompy deck that leverages explosive early ramp to deploy its commander on Turn 3. Each time Aerid enters or dies, it creates a Heartwood token that ramps colored mana and grows the artifact count. The deck converts artifact density into lethal combat pressure through Aerid's scaling firebreathing ability, equipment like Nettlecyst and Improvised Arsenal, and finishers like Depthshaker Titan and Finale of Devastation. Robust draw engines tied to high power, such as Garruk's Uprising, Bitter Work, and Rishkar's Expertise, replenish resources to maintain relentless momentum. While the deck lacks instant-speed infinite combos or heavy stax, it excels at applying overwhelming combat clocks while recovering easily from removal due to resilient artifact mana production.
