Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Cloud, Planet's Champion. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap Equipment and mana rocks in the opening turns, casting Cloud on Turn 5, and leveraging Cloud's built-in equip-cost discount to attach weapons for free or minimal mana. Once equipped, Cloud becomes an indestructible double-striker during your turn, pushing lethal commander damage as early as Turn 6 when enhanced by stat-boosting weapons like Blackblade Reforged, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Loxodon Warhammer. The deck supplements its primary Voltron pressure with extra-combat effects like Overpowering Attack and Response // Resurgence, alongside an infinite combat combo in Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. Redundant beaters like Swiftblade Vindicator and Valduk, Keeper of the Flame ensure consistent offensive pressure if Cloud is removed.
