Thranduil KILLER by user4453529

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a BUG elf-combo deck that uses legendary-Elf enters triggers and self-mill to fill the graveyard, then turns Thranduil into a one-card engine by granting him every activated ability of Elves in the graveyard-mana from Priest/Archdruid/Druid, counters from Immaculate Magistrate, and overrun or drain from Ezuri/Jarad. The primary route is to put Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate in the graveyard after Thranduil is in play, make infinite mana and +1/+1 counters, then kill with Ezuri's trample overrun or Jarad's sacrifice ability. Secondary paths are classic Elf-token beatdown with Elvish Promenade, lords, Lathril drain, and Craterhoof Behemoth. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally is the hidden secondary commander: its creature side is an anthem/token maker and its Silvan Rally adventure mills four to stock the graveyard.
