Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black lifegain and aristocrats reanimation strategy helmed by Moseo, Vein's New Dean. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, consistent lifegain engines like Creeping Bloodsucker, Pristine Talisman, and Ayara, First of Locthwain to trigger Moseo's Infusion ability every end step. By milling and sacrificing key creatures, the deck repeatedly resurrects high-impact threats from the graveyard directly to the battlefield without paying mana. In the midgame, it transitions from small-scale recursion to game-ending board states through asymmetric drain engines like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Vein Ripper, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Edict effects from Witch of the Moors and Braids, Arisen Nightmare keep opposing creature boards suppressed while your life total climbs steadily. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through repeated devotion drains and evasive combat damage.
