Deck overview

This is an Orzhov equipment-voltron deck built around Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The plan is to suit Squall up with a deep 14-card equipment suite, attack alone to trigger his double-strike ability, and use his combat-damage trigger to recur cheap permanents (mana value 3 or less) from the graveyard every time he connects. The deck wins primarily through commander damage, with a robust protection package - hexproof, indestructible, phasing, and a turn-lock in Conqueror's Flail - to keep Squall alive through the kill. Secondary lines include suiting up backup carriers like Beatrix, Loyal General or Cid, Freeflier Pilot, and grinding value through Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin draw. There are no infinite combos; the deck is a straightforward, resilient combat-inevitability machine.
