Deck overview

This Jund aristocrats deck uses the Partner-Survivor pairing of Ellie, Brick Master and Joel, Resolute Survivor to generate steady token armies and convert them into card advantage, board control, and life drain. The game plan begins with early ramp into Ellie on Turn 2, which incentivizes aggressive combat by spawning tapped Cordyceps Infected tokens whenever an opponent is attacked. Once Joel lands on Turn 4, every token death yields +1/+1 counters and card draw. The deck leverages redundant sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Priest of Forgotten Gods alongside potent drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. Asymmetric edicts such as Dictate of Erebos and graveyard denial from Nemata, Primeval Warden suppress opposing creature strategies. The deck steadily grinds down opponents' life totals through combat and death triggers, closing games around Turn 8 with mass sacrifice bursts or overwhelming flying pressure from Korvold, Fae-Cursed King.
