Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mono-black draw-punishment control-combo deck under Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The primary plan is to land Sheoldred early and force extra draws from all players via Howling Mine, Master of the Feast, Seizan, Teferi's Puzzle Box, and land activations, converting each draw into life loss for opponents and life gain for yourself. That life swing sets up infinite loops with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror combined with any Sanguine Bond effect, or the Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank mill-drain loop. Backup finishes are huge Cabal Coffers-fueled Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire and an Aetherflux Reservoir blast. No hidden commander; the deck is built around Sheoldred as the central drain engine.
