Deck overview

This deck is a classic Bant Group Hug list commanded by Phelddagrif. It accelerates the entire table by deploying symmetrical mana engines such as Eladamri's Vineyard and Collective Voyage alongside continuous card-draw engines like Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, and Rites of Flourishing. Because these engines provide opponents with extra mana and cards before the Phelddagrif player can untap, the deck uses defensive tools such as Solitary Confinement, Dawnstrider, Aetherize, and Aetherspouts to survive incoming attacks. It breaks parity in the late game through asymmetrical board wipes like Cyclonic Rift and Supreme Verdict, eventually winning through token generation with Sylvan Offering, combat damage from Phelddagrif, or long-game attrition.
