Deck overview

This deck is a high-power casual Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The primary plan accelerates into Miirym on Turns 4–5 using green land ramp and tribal cost reducers. Once Miirym is active, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates a nonlegendary copy on entry, generating massive power and board presence. Payoff pieces like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Atarka, World Render turn these entering copies into immediate lethal damage, combining direct burn with overwhelming aerial combat. While the list lacks fast mana and instant-win combos, its high redundancy of evasive threats and power-based card advantage engines (Temur Ascendancy, Garruk's Uprising) allows it to dominate mid-game combat steps. A lean suite of low-cost countermagic and instant-speed protection shields Miirym during vulnerable setup windows.
