Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund midrange build helmed by Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. The core game plan exploits an exceptionally dense suite of one-mana ramp spells to reliably cast Henzie on Turn 2. Starting on Turn 3, Henzie's static blitz ability converts 4-mana and higher creatures into hasty, cost-reduced attackers that replace themselves upon death. As the mana base expands, the deck pivots into blitzing game-ending threats including Archon of Cruelty, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Massacre Wurm. These creatures dismantle opposing boards through enters-the-battlefield and dies triggers while filtering deep through the library. Graveyard recursion engines like Chainer, Nightmare Adept, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, and Portal to Phyrexia repeatedly cycle these haymakers, grinding down opposing life totals and resources until lethal combat and drain triggers close the game on Turn 7.
