Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck merges aggressive Mardu vampire tribal beats with compact aristocrat combo finishes. Edgar's eminence ability reliably generates 1/1 black Vampire tokens whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating a persistent board presence and steady sacrifice fodder without needing to cast the commander. Fast mana rocks and rituals accelerate early development, enabling rapid deployment of top-tier card draw engines like Skullclamp, Necropotence, and The One Ring. The primary victory path leverages tutors to assemble the infinite life-drain combo of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood (or Bloodthirsty Conqueror), eliminating all three opponents in a single turn cycle. Backed by proactive protection such as Grand Abolisher and efficient removal like Swords to Plowshares and Deadly Rollick, the deck smoothly pivots between explosive combo execution and resilient token beatdown.
