Deck overview

Jodah, Archmage Eternal is the mana engine of a five-color big-value deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Jodah, then use his WUBRG alternate cost to deploy 7-9 mana payoffs such as Omniscience, Conflux, Emergent Ultimatum, Etali, and Maelstrom Wanderer. Secondary paths include Show and Tell / Turntimber Symbiosis creature dumps, extra-turn chains from Time Stretch/Expropriate/Rise of the Eldrazi, and a haste-backed combat kill from the resulting board. The commander's role is a reusable mana cheat; the deck is built to win through him, though it can hard-cast large threats. There is no hidden commander; Maelstrom Wanderer and Etali are the closest to alternate haymakers.
