Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an artifact and upkeep-focused strategy centered on Itazura, Lingering Wick. The game plan accelerates mana development through low-cost mana rocks and Treasure multipliers like Academy Manufactor, Xorn, and Goldspan Dragon. It leverages topdeck manipulation via Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack alongside upkeep doublers such as Paradox Haze and The Ninth Doctor to maximize Itazura's bidding trigger. Opponents are forced into high-damage bids to cast free spells, while the deck steadily amasses cards, Treasures, and board presence. The late game closes explosively on Turn 6 using high-mana finishers including Fiery Emancipation to triple damage, Insurrection to swing with opposing armies, Cyberdrive Awakener to animate artifact tokens into flying beaters, or Crackle with Power to burn out the table in a single turn.
