Niv Dragons by Yggdrasil

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck built to use the commander's combat damage trigger as a draw/burn engine. The primary plan is to ramp into Dragons, cast Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact, and turn his trigger into card advantage and direct damage. The deck also has an infinite damage combo using Barbed Servitor, Blazing Sunsteel, and Desolation of Smaug. The commander's hexproof from multicolored makes him resilient, while Call the Spirit Dragons provides a grindy backup win. The deck is slow due to a tapland-heavy manabase, but it compensates with high-value dragons and token synergies.
