Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue draw-go control deck that weaponizes The Watcher in the Water to generate board presence on opposing turns. By prioritizing instant-speed card draw, the deck creates 1/1 Tentacle creature tokens during each opponent's turn. These tokens serve dual purposes: they fuel high-impact synergy cards like Junk Winder and Kindred Discovery, and they act as disruption fodder through death triggers that untap Krakens and lock down opposing threats with stun counters. A dense, efficient suite of counterspells protects the engine and prevents opposing wins. The deck converts its accumulating card advantage into victory through overwhelming combat damage with an army of Tentacles and 9/9 Krakens generated by Spawning Kraken, backed by full board-tap effects.
