Deck overview

Kambal, Profiteering Mayor leads an Orzhov token-aristocrats deck with an innovative token-gifting twist. The deck leverages cards like Hunted Horror, Slaughter Specialist, Clackbridge Troll, and Alliance of Arms to give opponents creature tokens, triggering Kambal to create matching copies under your control while draining the table. This token engine is supported by traditional aristocrat staples including Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, and Bastion of Remembrance, which convert token swarms and death triggers into inevitable table-wide life loss. Card draw engines like Welcoming Vampire, Enduring Innocence, and Caretaker's Talent provide continuous hand replenishment as tokens enter. The deck packs an efficient instant-speed removal suite that doubles as token generation via Generous Gift, Stroke of Midnight, and Get Lost. While vulnerable to mass sweepers due to modest plan shielding, the deck boasts strong engine redundancy and functions effectively even without its commander.
