Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (non-green) control and Polymorph deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan utilizes cheap, recurring token generators like Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Lingering Souls to supply expendable fodder. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 ability to exile a token, revealing and casting game-warping high-cost creatures and planeswalkers such as Archon of Cruelty, Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh, Ovika, Enigma Goliath, and Sphinx of the Second Sun. Backed by a suite of flexible counterspells, spot removal, and asymmetric taxes like Teferi, Time Raveler, the deck protects its board while grinding down opposing life totals through massive flying combat damage and recurring attrition triggers.
