Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Jeskai Equipment Voltron and Control build led by Captain America, First Avenger. The deck uses Cap's Catch ability to bypass high equip costs on powerhouse artifacts like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat, and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, while utilizing his Throw ability to deal direct damage and clear key blockers or opposing commanders. An elite equipment tutor suite including Stoneforge Mystic, Open the Armory, and Steelshaper's Gift ensures consistent Turn 4 onset, swinging for 14+ commander damage or burning key targets. A compact Sunforger package backed by free interaction spells (Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver) and Grand Abolisher protects the voltron core against disruption. While the deck requires three response cycles to eliminate all opponents through combat and burn, its dense resilience, card advantage engines, and instant-speed removal allow it to control the table and close games decisively.
