Wilhelt (Base Deck) by Jax

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver leads a Zombie aristocrats deck that wins by turning every death into drain and cards. Wilhelt creates decayed tokens when non-decayed Zombies die and draws cards at end step, fueling a grindy board of lords and sacrifice outlets. The main plan is go-wide drain with Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, Shepherd of Rot and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, backed by anthems like Death Baron and Lord of the Undead. Secondary paths use Gravecrawler loops with Ashnod's Altar, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Necroduality and Rooftop Storm to generate infinite death triggers, and mass reanimation via Rot Hulk. Mikaeus and Necroduality act as hidden commanders for the combo lines.
