High Noon if it was gayer by user5540377

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a highly tuned Izzet "pinger" deck helmed by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, which transforms every source of exactly 1 damage into 3 damage by adding 2 from its own triggered ability. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap pingers like Firebrand Archer and Kessig Flamebreather, suit them with Basilisk Collar or Curiosity for lifelink/deathtouch or card draw, and chain cantrips and 1-damage spells to burn the entire table out. The deck's secondary, faster win condition is a storm kill via Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Grapeshot, where Ghyrson triples each copy's damage. A deep interaction suite of 10 counterspells and multiple free spells protects the combo turn and keeps opponents off balance.
