This deck is a tightly-tuned competitive The Gitrog Monster Dredge combo engine designed to leverage the commander s raw card advantage and the dredge mechanic to assemble a deterministic loop. The primary game plan is to deploy a cheap discard outlet with Dakmor Salvage in hand, generating an infinite draw loop that mills the entire library. From there, the deck transitions into its payoff using Grist, the Hunger Tide s ultimate, infinite mana via Cadaverous Bloom or Squandered Resources into a game-ending spell, or combat damage from the Eldrazi titans Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. The strategy relies on an extremely dense tutor package and fast mana to consistently deploy the commander and assemble the combo ahead of the table s interaction curve.
