Deck overview

This competitive Azorius deck utilizes Will, Scion of Peace to convert incidental and burst lifegain into massive casting cost reductions for white and blue spells. Powered by format-ceiling fast mana artifacts like Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, the deck accelerates into early stax pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law, and Archon of Emeria to suppress opponents' proactive game plans. It leverages Will's discount ability to cast enormous draw spells like Sphinx's Revelation and Finale of Revelation for minimal colored mana, digging rapidly into its primary win condition: the two-card infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Protected by a comprehensive counterspell suite and turn-silencing effects like Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Teferi, Time Raveler, the deck cleanly executes instant-speed table kills while breaking parity under heavy stax.
