Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Talrand, Sky Summoner to convert an extensive suite of counterspells, cantrips, and bounce spells into a swarm of 2/2 flying Drake tokens. Early turns focus on mana development, cost reducers, and card advantage engines like Rhystic Study or Archmage Emeritus. While Talrand can win via overwhelming aerial combat, the deck also features powerful infinite turn and mana loops involving Archaeomancer, Ghostly Flicker, Peregrine Drake, and Isochron Scepter. You control the pace of the game by policing key threats, ultimately finishing opponents through infinite combat steps or massive Drake attacks.
