Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger midrange strategy helmed by Shiko and Narset, Unified. It leverages low-cost cantrips, cost reducers, and mana rocks to trigger the commander's Flurry ability on Turn 4, duplicating targeted spells and drawing cards. The primary win condition relies on deploying spell-velocity payoffs such as Monastery Mentor, Third Path Iconoclast, Young Pyromancer, and Guttersnipe. On Turn 6, chaining multiple noncreature spells creates an overwhelming army of prowess tokens or delivers lethal burn across the table, closing out the game by Turn 8. The list features dense card draw, smooth mana velocity, and resilient graveyard flashback options through Will of the Jeskai and Lier, Disciple of the Drowned. While it possesses solid creature removal and board wipes, it lacks low-cost countermagic and protection spells, making its creature-based engines susceptible to timely opposing removal and sweepers.
