Deck overview

This Rakdos deck combines classic Aristocrats mechanics with Zombie tribal synergies, using Mogis, God of Slaughter as an incremental damage clock and punisher piece. The primary game plan revolves around assembling three core components: a free sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder or Viscera Seer, recurring creature fodder such as Gravecrawler or Reassembling Skeleton, and drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Zulaport Cutthroat. On Turn 5 to 6, the deck introduces heavy asymmetric attrition engines like Dictate of Erebos and Butcher of Malakir, turning every sacrificed creature into a one-sided board wipe for opponents. While the list lacks high-speed mana positive rocks and infinite combos, its dense functional redundancy ensures steady recovery and inevitable life drain. Without fast stack interaction or hexproof protection, the deck wins by grinding through opposing removal and extinguishing life totals by Turn 8.
