Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund aristocrats and attrition engine led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It uses -1/-1 counters as a dual-purpose resource: clearing opposing creatures while drawing cards and creating creature tokens. Fast ramp in the early turns allows a Turn 3 commander deployment, quickly followed by key engine pieces like Nest of Scarabs, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. The deck can control creature-based boards using asymmetric locks such as Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night. It closes games decisively through a deterministic infinite loop between Blowfly Infestation and token generators, draining the entire table in a single turn with Blood Artist or Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. Supported by efficient black tutors and resilient recursion, the deck maintains steady card advantage and quick combo finishes.
