Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The primary strategy focuses on assembling Veyran alongside Magecraft and spell-trigger engines such as Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Guttersnipe. Veyran doubles every triggered ability caused by casting or copying instant and sorcery spells, turning modest 1-mana cantrips into explosive sources of mana, card draw, and burn. The deck transitions into a lethal turn around Turn 5 by casting rituals like Jeska's Will or Seething Song and chaining 10 or more spells to drain the table in a single turn cycle. Alternatively, the deck can execute a clean two-card infinite combo using Ral, Storm Conduit and Expansion // Explosion to ping the table to death. Efficient interaction like Swan Song and Resculpt keeps opponents in check while defending key engine pieces during the storm turn.
