Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck built around the transform commander Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The front side trades a sacrifice for a card on entry or attack and pings on every other creature's death, conveniently flipping after four deaths in a single turn; the back side grants a permanent drain emblem and turns each attack into a mass-sacrifice card draw. The 99 is the classic engine shell: self-recurring bodies (Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast, Nether Traitor, Woe Strider, Forsaken Miner), free and mana-positive sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, Warren Soultrader, Pitiless Plunderer, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician), and a wall of death-trigger drainers (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Marionette Apprentice). The deck wins by looping a creature in and out of the graveyard for infinite death triggers and Treasures, and converting them into table-wide life loss - or, failing that, grinding out chip drain and edict value.
