Don't look Smaug'ly at me by Ulty

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable is both an indestructible beater and a Treasure engine: every noncombat damage source converts into a large hoard of Treasures. The deck accelerates with rituals, rocks, and dragon/Treasure synergies, then uses a boardwipe or burn spell on Smaug to bank a massive Treasure stack. From there it closes with Torment of Hailfire, Crackle with Power, or artifact alt-wins like Hellkite Tyrant and Revel in Riches. A compact backup package uses Chain of Smog with Professor Onyx or Sedgemoor Witch to win immediately. Magda, Brazen Outlaw serves as a secondary tutor/engine. There is no true hidden commander; the other Smaug legends are support pieces.
