Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red burn and combo strategy commanded by Neheb, the Eternal. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana early with low-cost mana rocks, deploying Neheb ahead of curve on Turn 3 or 4, and utilizing precombat damage to generate massive red mana pools in the postcombat main phase. Once operational on Turn 5, this explosive mana reserve fuels immediate table-wide finishes, most notably infinite combat loops with Aggravated Assault, catastrophic X-cost burn spells like Crackle with Power and Comet Storm, or the compact creature combo of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts. The deck features robust protection against targeted interaction with cards like Deflecting Swat and Lightning Greaves, but relies heavily on burst draw spells such as Wheel of Misfortune and Knollspine Dragon to maintain card velocity. While vulnerable to early spot removal on its commander, it remains capable of lethal wins in a single turn.
